For the times when we want a nice break from grinding and bossing in Maple: Wanna duel against or play on the same team as peer in one of peer's favorite games of all time?  Wanna see how pr0 or n00b peer is on one of his favorite games?  This is a fast, FREE, and fun version of Quake 3 that runs straight from your browser. This version includes loads of updates such as a repolished UI, new gametype, new maps, etc.  QuakeLive Whether you're pr0 at or new to first-person shooters, do check it out, guys. I just started playing this last night. It has awesome social features too: buddy lists, rankings, chatrooms, training modes, etc. Just register and create an account -- note that your account name will be your ign. There are many gametypes, including team-based games and free-for-all games. Post here if you have any questions. But be sure to post (or pm me) your ign so that I can add you. Is it similar to Quake 3 Arena? (oldschool game,loved it,and I'm a RPG-Junkie,ya know,so I don't or barely play Shooters) P.S. I'm back to Maple =P [edit by peer: it's quite similar; however, the maps have been reconfigured and the weapons rebalanced. new maps, gametypes, and social features have been added too =) ] Edited by peerliss, Oct 16 2009, 08:26 AM.

I would have loved the day you and me went gaming on "Unreal Tournament", some kind of a very old version, but it's lovely if you ask me. Capture the flag + Me as sniping = Unlimited headshots. <3 |

And i basically forgot which map this tactic fits into. Ah well, here it goes... There is a map in space, two towers connected with two rock bridges. Above those is a sniping perfect for taking down many as you can with the limited ammunition, which gives my team a chance to take the enemy flag. Whenever i feel like rolling on good without having to complete the round, i betray my team-mates. <3 |

Joel, the only other FPS I hold in as high regard as Quake 3 would be Unreal Tournament 2k4 =) Is that the version u played the most? I've played earlier versions of UT as well. I got the UT Anthology. But I haven't played UT3 yet. |

It could depend, but i am assured that i mostly played that version. I've also tried out UT 2003 and UT 2004. I believe that UT 2004 added some vechicles giving the game some more fun stuff. Currently at this time, my laptop is unable to launch it. It was... eh, stored on one of those very old PC that was apparently demolished and it's parts where teared apart. I gotta try do whenever it's possible to claim that version back once i got my hands on a new Hardware. |

can all that have this game installed give their Name Tag so i can add you all, i alredy added John and Joel,and Peer alredy added me ^^ so ther ya go, now lets have some First Person Shooter Fun. i playd alot in school,we installed it and cracked it on all computers in school eaven if it was Strictly forbidden to play games
