I would like to say a few things:

When you logon to MapleStory you don't see a single Hi/Hello or whatever.. So I check guild ifnormation to see if no ones on and I see theres like 20 people on. It's often like this when I loggon =/ and i find it rude..

Maybe it's just me but I think geting a little hello or anything makes you feel better!

Sure this guild is great it has the all but I think we can work on the social part a bit more!

And like, if a "populair" member logs on, the guild chat gets spammed to death by hellos.

Someone please post this in the BBS since I'm not able to.

 Hi Spike! Thanks for posting your thoughts. Personally though, I think Nexon should remove the log on alert, because to me, 1 person saying "no one said hi to me" or the whole guild saying "he's not saying hi back when we say hi when he logs on" is unnecessary drama in the guild :(

edit: Some people like to log on without calling a lot of attention. So for those people it's actually better. But the best idea is to remove the login alert altogether.

 he's right though. When I log in, deadly silience, when Icolor logs in like 1 minute later, people go beserkers. Not that I mind....

 I guess the people who get the most greetings are the ones that have been in the guild for a while.

Keep in mind though, don't expect a lot of greetings when you log in. Simply the fact people could be:
Training
Conversing with other people through other chats
In a trade
Sound off, the log in notice is usually in your peripheral (sp?) part of your eye, so you rarely see it.

No one hates you! Those are possibilities.
