 GUIDE to use vent(peerless vent)

1.first of all you have to have vent.
Go to http://www.ventrilo.com/download.php and download the CLIENT for your computer.
Remember download the client and not the server!

2.making user:
after installing the vent open it and its going to be like this:

click on the button marked in red and screen like this will popup:

click the purple button and then type your name and IGN(in game name)

after clicking OK twice you going to go back to opening screen except now your have a user.
3. putting the server settings.
Click on the GREEN button on the main screen(pic1) and it going to look like this:

click “new”and then click the name you want for the server.(i choose peerless)
and copy the hostname and port number into your vent.
Hostname: <see guild bbs>
port number: <see guild bbs>
password: <see guild bbs>
the click ok.
After getting back to main screen click connect and start talking(need mic)
defult hotkey:left ctrl.
You can change your setting when clicking setup on your main screen.


[peer: final tip from peer: to improve audio quality, do the following.
select options closest to the following for mixer, mux, and line.

Finally, go to Windows Audio Control and make sure Microphone is muted.
