We can go on trying to recruit 100-120's or whatever, trying to become a 'bossing' guild, but it's obviously not working for us -- Our guildies are only leaving, and because we don't have, say, a rush of 100-120's all at once to make us that bossing guild instantaneously, then any 100-120's that we _do_ recruit really have no reason to stay. If, however, we recruit 70-120's, then many more players will be able to join, keeping Peerless an active and fun (it's _not_ been much fun recently) guild. If it's fun, then people will stay - perhaps not the 120's, if they just want to boss, but that's okay -- if the level 70's, the 80's stay, then eventually they will reach that 'desired' level of 1xx. So, as I see it, we've got two choices -- keep recruiting as it is now and just die due to lack of 100-120's, and no big reason for them to stick around, or we can let a whole bunch of lower leveled players join, giving everyone a reason to stay (simply because an active guild is a fun guild), and eventually achieving that 'goal' of being able to Papulatus or Zakum regularly. If the guild doesn't start growing/changing again soon, I'm going to leave. I don't like it the way it is now. Leadar, you're the only reason I'm still in it. If you plan to stay inactive, then just say so, and I'll be on my way to somewhere else. |
