Link to this page: http://boss.peerliss.org/ Peerless Boss Parties The Peerless Guild will now start to host specific times for Pap/Pianus parties. During the selected times (which will be posted later) there will always be a Jr on to help those in need and judge those who are participating. This will be for the upcoming Peerless participation in zakum. The following tips NEED to be praticed during these times to ensure ur qualification for Zakum. Update (10/30): Due to the low turn out rating on the last pap run with so many on, I will wait until more people join our Boss Runs. Until then, boss runs will be held randomly throughout the guild AS LONG AS THERE IS A JR PRESENT. If they are not present, the boss run will not be considered a Guild Boss Run and will not be restricted to the same guidelines as previously posted. But, if those wish to qualify for the zakum run and want to contribute to the overall success in the guild, participation is highly recommended. Dragon Knights: You are both a support and attack class. Though most of you feel that attacking the boss is the way to go, unfortunately this is not the case. Compared to the other two warrior classes, your speciality is mobbing and high consistent dmg. Yet you are rather slow and overall damage will be lower compared to Crusaders, WKs too if fighting Pianus/Black Crow. Therefore, your first priority is always to HB. To fail to accomplish this results in sometimes the immediate death of a party. The second priority is bomb control. To fail to do this in Pianus is even more devestating due to the bombs 10k+ dmg upon explosion. Therefore, spamming crusher to kill bombs immediately when they spawn, and a consistent 10k+ dmg on the bombs, will result in the safety and survival of the party they are in. Priests: You are the 2nd or maybe even the most important class for survival in party due to peoples failure in potting. Therefore, even tho it is not ur 100% fault 4 the deaths of party members, your #1 priority is to keep them alive as a support character. Hopefully, bless is not needed and HS is not necessary. So your own survival is important as well to keep down pot costs and keep other party members alive. Keep Magic Guard on at all times and immediately cast Magic Guard after dispel folowed by MP Pots or vice versa depending on if MP is needed. Then continue to spam heal. Remember, keep close to the close range attackers more than the long range. Though the close range have more HP, they also tend 2 get hit more with physical and magic dmg. Therefore healing them is needed more rather than the ranged classes. It is the ranged classes responsiblity to keep close 2 you if they want heal, not ur own. Also, as an ending note on this subject, Maxed Dispel is highly recommended. In Zakum, it can cast every single status effect making your slight lapse in dispel not working, a total monstrousity. Also, practicing jump heal is highly recommended also. Chief Bandits: You are the highest dmging class to bossers. This is your speciality and hopefuly you are well equiped 2 do so. Using dark sight and Meso Guard (Mostly only in zakum), you will drop X amount of mesos quickly using Copy+Paste and rely on the Priests to heal u in dark sight. Remeber to practice this skill because fast meso dropping results in faster kills. Hermits/Rangers: Unfortunately, due to your lack of HP or safety buffs, the required lvl by most is requested as lvl 120. Luckily, this is an overexageration and your survival can be kept as long as your HP is over 3.5k with HB. But, lvl 110 is most recommended. Your qualification will be judged later 2 see if you will be allowed in. Hermits: Unfortunately along with Archers, you are the least likely to survive w/o a safety buff or high HP. Therefore maintaining a close eye on your HP is 100% necessary. You are not as strong as Archers Damage wise, but you have another important responsibility. To haste the rest of the party members so that they can get from place to place. CBs cant due to dropping Mesos and Bombing. Therefore you wil need 2 help haste the party along with attacking. Archers: You do the most damage ranged wise and will be of most help to the top right arm that cant be hit by close range characters. Be sure to constantly check your pots and keep on attacking. Mages: Same problem as the priests survival wise. Check your pots and your health at all times, and remember to handle the summoned mobs as efficently as possible, for you have the biggest range with mobbing skills. Crusaders/WKs: You have the highest HP so survival shouldnt be a problem for you. With HB, most of you should have over 10k health, and should just consistently attk while minding your health. You two classes should handle every arm besides the top right one. WKs have the elemental advantage on arms and mobs only. Each arm has a different element and it is up 2 u 2 find out the correct charge. Also, due to less range than DKs, mind bump dmg and try 2 keep a safe distance while attacking. Surival in this thing is UP TO YOU. If you die, the only thing you could possibly blame it on, is Hermits and Rangers who werent buffed for HB. The rest is up 2 you and potting, if you dont pot, learn how. If you dont want to, dont join. If any harassment is made to the Priest/Dk due 2 failure in Heal/HB, then that person will be immediately banned from the bossing runs. Then later, a evaluation will be made on the subject to see who was at fault. Whether it was the other character going 2 far away for the heal/buffs, or it was the support characters failure in heal/buff will be determined by a neutral party. To join, a BBS post will be made with 2 afternoon times for boss runs. A Jr. will always be on to guide this smoothly if enuf ppl are on. I encourage all to join or 2 lvl up. We will immediately ban looters/hackers in these runs. A Guild Bank will be started (Roxy's shop), to gain mesos from drops and save up for ME money and some funds will be allowed back to survivors. Unfortunately, we are not yet ready for zakum and a Peerless only zakum would be hard to achieve. We are unable to get into zakum due to scheduling and would more than likely join an alliance with other guilds to take Zakum down. Roxy, as our Guilds Communication Specialist, will possibly recruit names such as BSCULA, Alexina, NevvYork, DoomRaven, etc. This will encourage our success into a zakum guild and allow others to view our guild better. Peerliss, please make sure the whole guid is notified of this post and the BBS post. I am counting on you to make the guild aware. -AtomicTyson [edit by peerliss: topic moved, pinned, highlighted, linked, and menu'd.] |
